Does anyone know of any nearby substantial hills around UNSW that are quite void of people and not actually in UNSW? I'm looking to spend my break time at uni at somewhere deserted to get my fitness up without people looking at me and finding me a wanker.

Thanks.

Just run from one end of the campus to the other, going up the Basser or Scientia steps.

UNSW is pretty much built on the side of a hill. You can walk up and down barker street (the street where maccas is) it's uphill and there isn't much people around

Thanks for the replies.

Yeah, considered it, but Basser and Scientia are out of the question since it'll look weird and embarrassing seeing someone walking up and down them for an hour, as is running around campus.

I'll check out Barker when I get back (never have explored that side of uni).

Just run around the Village Green. People often do that, in running gear.

Seriously this. There's a brick wall + Tyree covering most of the Village Green so the majority of people walking on the Main Walkway won't see you, especially if you go to the furthest side of the field.

Library stairs to the top level :D

But yeah, try centenial park. A really beautiful place.
Another great location is Coogee, which is just beyond upper campus. It is downhill to the beach but going back up to uni is a fair walk.

If this is the case, then does anyone know where I can get a soccer ball from?

I don't want to have to bring my own but it would be a great idea to take some kicks on the village green in the excess breaks.

Bring your own. No one really loans anything.

Social Soccer Society plays social games Wednesday and Friday afternoons.
