-Differences in culture
-Tamils in Sri Lanka are ethnically different from most central and north Indians if genetics is a factor

Lol the IQ for Sri Lanka was determined by the IQ of surrounding nations in that study since there was no actual data on Sri Lanka, that is grossly unreliable, particularly as statistically speaking Sri Lanka has an enormously higher literacy rate than India etc. so you would expect the average IQ to be higher as well. There are a tremendous number of factors that weigh into IQ and it's stupid to judge the average IQ of a nation based on that of surrounding nations

North Sri Lanakns value human capital and individual aspiration very highly just like their fellow Asian comrades such as the Chinese. I know a lot of North Sri Lankan Australians who go to James Ruse Agricultural High School. I also know a lot of North Sri Lankans who do Bachelor of Commerce and Bachelor of Laws at Universities. Australians need to show more compassion to refugees who have a lot to contribute to the Australian economy and our way of life.
