i agree, the dragons were good but the sharks were better on the night, if only they could of held the lead they would of won. but as i said before you have to hand it to the sharks for playing so good agaisnt the premiership favorites

Ive always been a fan of Gallen, if you look at his stats he's one of the very few who can average 40+ tackles/hitups per game week in week out.

Gallen did very well this year, he's emerged from the shy little backrower that he was before. He's topped the hitup and metres lists, so thats good for him, but nothing out of the usual for Sharks fans.

Yeah, I forgot about that Barrett push: HILLARIOUS! I wish i had taped that, Vagana is a champ and always gets away with shit. I dont think he really deserved to get penalised because Barrett clearly dived, and whilst he didnt get penalised Phil Ghould was dying for a penalty... Fuck I hate Ghould.... But Barrett was being a fucken tool, dont turn League in to soccer you stupid pussy. I usually have respect for Barrett because he is a good player, but his stupid actions of late hass made him lose some respect I had for him. That being said, he was probably the Dragons best, along with Young and Ennis...

But Vagana gets away so much, but its made up for by all the penalties that go against us in the end.

And Gallen is a great player, but I dont think he'll ever play Origin cos of the polotics involved in Rep. Sides. But he has a great work rate, and he and Nutley really do help the side to no end. Keep it up for next season guys, cos the preimiership is goin to Cronulla! Cos we have the man who specialises in winning GF's, Darren Albert (just hope he's still good)

By the looks of the media, MOTM was Barrett, although he was shit. If anyone from the Dragons, I'd ay Best. But seriously, Vagana was probably best on field.

Oh, and imagine if Gallen and Nutley were at the Dragons - Gallen would have 3 years of rep football, while Nuts would have had 10. But such is life at the Sharks. I find it funny how everyone but their hardest workers get rewarded with rep jumpers [ie Thompson]

Maybe Gallen will go to the Rorts or Dragons if need be. Stop sooking because you got pushed to the edge by the Sharks. Both teams played well on a wet, slippery ground and a few ref calls go your way and you won. It's times like these that you can say both teams played to their potential, and obviously, the Dragons have a better roster and are better than the Sharks when you put two teams to their limits.

I loved that last minute. Just if Peachey did somethng with those 10seconds to go, and it wasn't such a bad chip kick either, landed perfectly, but Greenshields got to the ball easy.

DRAGONZ, it looks like the JF final will be Sharkies vs. Dragons. The Sharks just won Yesterday against the West Magpies and because they finished the season 2nd (to st george) they go straight to the preliminary final. So, it seems like it could be Sharks against Dragons Jersey Fleg final.... maybe we can get a little back

Manly were flat in attack in the 2nd half, but then again it didnt look like they were sticking to the game plan being 28 - 0 down at half time. How good were Bk's tries at the end, what a legend. Also Michael Witt's solo was class. But at the end of the day the Eels were too good, I thought Vella played well and Ben Smith spotted the gaps well. Tahu's 2nd try was good, too fast for even Stewart.

Also Nathan Caylesses break and touch finders were good.

Storm vs Cowboys: very tough to pick. Really hope slater and co can recover from injury. If they do, Storm easily. Otherwise it's a bit tough to choose. Cowboys will find it harder to recover after what happened on Friday.
Tigers vs Broncos: West tigers. If they can play 80% like they did on Friday I have no problems with thinking a 13+ point win will come for them

Storm are the darkhorse for the entire competition, but it really depends on the Cowboys recovery from last week's flogging.

It's good to see no Sharks make the train on squad. Dont wanna hurt Paul Gallen or Danny Nutley too soon. It's also good to see worthy performers such as Waterhouse and Clinton make the squad. I guess all you have to do these days to make a rep side is play for the Roosters, Bulldogs, Dragons or Panthers. Or be Ben Kennedy.

These guys still aren't the best... I mean stats can tell ya a bit about the players, but it's not everything. These guys aren't brilliant footballers, they are just good honest toilers. That's not to say a guy like Nutley shouldn't be at least selected in the squad.

But the thing that shits me is that players like Joel Clinton [seriously, name anything he does that is good - FFS he makes like a total of 100 m a game!] and Trent Waterhouse [if anyone would pick this derro over Nutley or Gallen, go and get fucked - thats you Colin Love you stupid fuck]. Mason got selected. That gys done jack all this year and when he did play he didnt prove anything. I know that all Sharks fans and rugby league fans with half a brain can understand why I'm pissed at the disclusion of Nutley and Gallen. It's a bloody joke.

They may be the nest, but they still aren't the best... Did you read what I said - they good honest toilers (ie they work their arses off), but there are other players better. I think Trent Waterhouse is a gun, although I haven't seen an Panthers games - and considering the Panthers poor form of late - I'd have to say his inclusion is questionable, Joel Clinton's inclusion being more so. Mason has proven himself, but his form has been pretty bad of late. O'Meley (I know ya didn't mention him) however certainly deserves his inclusion.

Last week they had 6 more sets with the ball than the storm. 9 more completions.
More penalties, more scrums, less mistakes, everything. Also, lets not forget that two amazing storm players were injured.

Yeah I agree with Nutley and Gallen, Gallen has had a great season and should have been in the train on squad, nutley has been underrated for quite a few years now but at least he made the origins this year. But i dont think either would make the 17 tho, close to a bench spot maybe...

having a look at the squad list, ts mainly the people who've been there before. guess if you want to break through, your team must be performing in the finals as well as having a blinder yourself (like matty bowen last year).

but the selectors being as they are i wouldnt be surprised to see carroll gets picked at lock infront of kennedy -_-

what i think let us down were stupid plays, well not stupid just plays that forced the issue and in the end gave the ball back to the storm. like lockyer and his chip kick and than he made a break and kicked it, if they had come off they would of been awesome, but they didn't

plus it was lockyer's first week back after a lil while injured, so hopefully he can fire against tigers, and hope hodges is back, we got dominated in the centres and wings against storm

i got a good feeling about this game, hope im right!

Statistically I'm sure Nutley is a better player, and to be honest its kinda hard to answer this question. It's very much a presence that a bloke like O'Meley brings to a team - it's why people notice O'Meley and they don't notice Nutley. I'll be honest and agree with you - if Nutley were playing for a higher profile team he would be more likely candidate (like a bloke like Ricketson would go under the radar had he not been playing for the Roosters).
