I called Shaun Berrigan undeserving for a centre position: and I stand by that. He is not in the top two centres in league, and I don't believe he was when he was chosen either. As copious has said- it is his utility value that could get him into the team.

maybe you should start watching games where the sharks aren't playing, like the games being played this week. im not agree with what his saying, but he does have a point. most of the posts made by you in this thread are of you bitching about the sharks. it shits me man. i propose for next season you have a sharks thread so you can bitch and moan to your hearts content about how under rated the team is and how great gallen is and how much you want his babies.

and on a side note, i thought it was interesting to see most of you had berrigan in your side, even if it was only on the bench, after some called him 'undeserving' not that long ago. not sure what the logic is there.
Dude, I know the Sharks are shit. I'm not one eyed. But I know that Gallen and Nutley deserve a spot more than the cats being selected now. I'm only pissed when the rightful thing doesn;t happen. My two most hated teams are the Eels and the Dragons, but they deserve to be at the top becuase they have played good football, and deserve many reps. I also see that Penrith is way down there and that they have 3 more reps than the Sharks.

I wouldn't put Slater on the wing if my life depended on it. I stand by the call for specialist players in all positions, and although Slater is an exceptional fullback (most of the time), I don't think he ever really feels comfortable on the wing.

For what it's worth:

1. Brett Hodgson
2. Eric Grothe
3. Mark Gasnier
4. Matt Cooper
5. Matt King
6. Darren Lockyer
7. Andrew Johns
8. Steve Price
9. Danny Buderus
10. Luke Bailey
11. Nathan Hindmarsh
12. Craig Fitzgibbon
13. Ben Kennedy

14. Craig Wing
15. Mark O'Meley
16. Jason Ryles
17. Danny Nutley

Clinton has probably (with skandalis) been the form Front rower of the last 10 weeks. If any of you bothered to watch him you would see he is worthy of being in the train on squad. He runs hard, hits hard and can offload. The team should be picked on current form not form from the first 10 rounds of the comp.!

Well, you'd be dead if you were a Queensland selector.
I know :(. You guys have way too many fullback options. It's good, but not so good, ya know?

Mmmm, Brisbane always underperform after SoO. It just came a little late this year.

Bookie, the Sharks have signed Peewee Moke from the Roosters
I'm sure you remember him from the Flegg grand final last year.
Looked talented then, but has apparantely fallen out of favour at the Roosters or something like that.

Can you tell me anything about Daniel Dumas?
Saw him play a few weeks ago in reserves, and looked like he had some potential.

Can anyone pick the Penrith supporter? hahaha, Rooney is a deffinate no no for me, but the rest of the team, bar parts of the bench seem ok to me.

Random 87,
yeh i know im biased but i honestly think the panthers players (and all the players for that matter) chosen in that side deserve to be there based on there performances of late.

Maybe Waterhouse shouldnt be there but the rest i think are the best for those positions. Maybe swap him for SImpson/Creagh/Young/Newton.

But i honestly believe that Priddis is the best hooker in the game. Buderus is a brilliant hooker when he has Johns playing outside of him but when Johns aint there, he struggles to find a combination with Halfback.

Thats why i think if Johns is playing Buderus should be Hooker, but if Johns is out and Gower is playing no. 7 then priddis HAS to be hooker.

And whoever said Widders should be there obviously hasnt watched much football this year!!

Dont worry Jimmy Page, I'm always first on Sharks news. Dont see it as too big as we have a good crop of young forwards anyway. But he's more of a gain than a guy whos just a backup. This kids hopefully good.

At any other club, Daniel Dumas would be in line to be the next Ricko and reap representative rewards. Except Daniel Dumbass choseto go to the Rorts, who already happen to have three origin locks in their stead. He's a good player who didnt't prove his worth when he got hi first grade chance in 2003 and 2004, but he's been ripping it up in PL of late.

IMO I'd rather Priddis over Budderus, but as been pointed out, Johns + Budderus is better than Johns + Priddis because of the club connection. And I use to rate Waterhouse very high, but I felt his form was lacking for much of the year and thus, would not have him in the team. But in previous times he has deffinately deserved to be there imo. But Rooney is a joke, I dont think hes a bad player, but i can pick so many wingers above him, especially if the centres were to be Cooper and Gasnier (which they should be). That would leave the likes of King and Tahu and possibly others who are currently in centre, as wing options.

Roosters have also picked up Glenn Hall from Souths
They're looking pretty good in the prop department next year, with:
Hall
Shillington
Edmonson
Tonga
Morley
Tupou

I personally don't rate Hall, Shillington or Edmonson. Tonga is already hitting 30 from memory, but he looked fairly solid this season.

The hopes of the Roosters lie with Morley and Tupou. Morley needs to take yet another step up, and it's high time that Tupou becomes a regular starter in the front row. He needs to have a blinder of a year.

However, Stuart will probably go with Morley and Edmonson in the 10 and 8, with Tupou either in the second row or on the bench.

Anyone here about the Cowboys vs Storm game? Only 2500 tickets sold. Hahahaha what a joke. The Dragons are giving heaps of free tickets away so people can support their Premier League side (they play Newtown before the 'main' match). It would be hilarious if there are more Dragons supporters there than Storm or Cowboys supporters ... hilarious, but it will probably happen.
