When/Is this going to be uploaded on the BoS resources section?
It's going to be uploaded at the beginning of reading time, and so everyone has to bring an electronic device to access it. and so the paper will not be printed out, but instead you'll have to go on BoS and open it up. in this way, BOS is saving paper and helping the environment :)

also, if your internet screws up, and you can't open it up, there's nothing we do and you can't appeal it. also, don't bother trying to cheat by posting on BOS for help in the middle of the exam, lol all the people who could possibly help you out will be doing the exam itself haha

nah I'm just joking man! :D I would guess it'd be uploaded a few days after. and if not, then when solutions and results are released....

Guys, just want to make an announcement.

Can we not forget Trebla when talking about BOS trials? He is part of the team (of two) which has brought you BOS trials over the last few years. And has been integral to its success :D

haha, just ought to show some respect in my opinion... :)

Hey Carrot, I'd like to sit the 2U paper (I'm part of a friend's 3U +1's already) if that's alright.

Yes!

He's been labouring over writing solutions (he's writing the solutions this year) as well as checking that all the questions work out, and then having to deal with me being careless with minor things.

I'm very grateful for his assistance, he's been over to my place many times already (often till past midnight) to work through issues that we've got ie: making sure questions are HSC friendly (he does a great job at keeping things HSC level, whereas I sometimes get over-excited and expect too much from students), checking to see if the questions actually work (there have been occasions where I made a big question proving some neat result and then he finds an issue with it).

you and mreditor are doing it

carrot sign them up
I'll think about it. But I'm 99.95% sure I can't make it due to multiple reasons (e.g. logistical factors), which I don't want to waste my time explaining here properly.

Even if I don't come, I will still definitely have an attempt at the paper for both 3U and 4U, when it gets put online.

In fact, if you really want, I'll do it in exam conditions as soon as the paper is released, and will make sure to avoid the threads discussing the paper. And then when solutions come out, I'll harshly mark my paper, in accordance with the strictness I know Carret would mark it. And if you really want to know, I can post what score I got for each one.

haha lol but will probs be like 40 for 4U haha :D
