Next they will introduce a new subject: "Drongo Maths" for those who find General Maths too challenging.
This isn't necessarily a bad thing though =/ would it not encourage more people to take maths and perhaps grasp a better understanding of the basic concepts to, you know, suck less at life? lolApplied mathematics is below general. But it doesn't count towards an ATAR.
By the time you get to that level, the kids don't care anyway. Coming from a school with more General maths classes than mathematics, ext 1 and ext 2 combined. We even have kids asking to drop from Applied into Lifeskills because it 'looks easier'.
