Hey guys, what do you think about donating your organs after your dead? Does it creep you out or do you think it is a good thing? Some of you will have already made that descision when they got their drivers liscence.

I would donate basically everything, because I know that I won't need it after Im dead.

What are your views?

I don't think my liver will do anyone any good, but people are welcome to anything else. It's not like I'll be needing them.

they dont need the eyeball..just the cornea i think...it requires removal of the eyeball probably

I am down for donating. For sale one slightly used body, organs fairly intact, no warranty, any offer accepted.

Still, suppose it's your last chance to redeem yourself and do something good for someone.

As long as it isnt some irritating person anybody can take my organs. Grr there should be a personality test before you can take organs.

Isn't there a law already that says if you some you done completely qualify for a transplant?

No Im more concerned about someone who just irritates people getting my organs, I dont want to piss people off after I die.

I am absolutely in favour of donation. I don't know why, but ever since I was little, I knew I would be a donor. I say take whatever can be used from me.

I'm donating everything except my heart (which is probably a little bad because its kind of a useful organ). I was going to donate everything, but then I asked my dear old daddy why he wasn't donating all the organs, and he said, "I need my heart to see in the next life." Dear thing. I thought it was lovely, but superstitious and was all ready to put down my heart, when I panicked in case it was true. So that's that then. Darn superstitions.

i'm a little edgy about donating skin though. How much do they remove? Will my body be left a skinless bloody blob?

I want my organs to help those little kids with bad diseases like cancer, it'd make me feel good.

and i think people who become cadivers are wonderful people, although i know i couldnt do it..however im fine with my organs being removed (weird)

You'd be skinless anywho. Unless your wanting to be preserved.
