the mentor session thingy today sucked really bad! we sat on the floor of the lecture theatre for like 20 minutes and thats it! questions we had to answer- name, course, why you're at orientation and worst smell... thats IT and then we could as some questions if we wanted..
orientation day was shit overall... didnt really find out anything new- all i got out of it is that i met one decent person after spending morning tea alone

i was actually surprised at the lack of asian students... whenever i walk through mac uni or catch buses that go through there it seems like they would make up at least half... but like you said... there was only a couple... strange indeed
