Hmm... I should probably ask, are you a guy or a girl? Lol. OK, more random guessing - are you Lucas?

I was lucky in that we decided to video tape lots before the actual exam, just so we had a record of all my pieces.... so all I had to do was sift through the videos and pick out the ones I wanted. So that was good. I don't really want to be selected for encore actually... it would mean having to rehash that one piece again after like 3 months, which I don't really want to do.

For HSC I played:

Bagatelles 1, 2, 4 -- Carl Vine
Jeux D'eau -- Ravel
Prelude op 23 no 2 -- Rachmaninoff
Piano Trio no 1 first mvt -- Mendelssohn
Prelude and Fugue in Csharp -- Bach
La Campanella -- Liszt

I dunno what grades those are, I don't think half of them are actually in the AMEB syllabus... which pieces did you play?

*apologises to all other BOS people for spamming this thread... >.<*

Hehe, I suck at this guessing thing don't I? Hmm... asian guy. Adrian? Vincent? That's all I can think of at the moment.

The prelude isn't the one in Gmin, I purposely chose a different one cos that one is played so often. And I'm doing music accelerated this year, so I don't have to worry about it next year.

So what was your performance program?

haha ur close enough.....

man, i wanted to do accelerated music, but the stupid teacher said some crap about how u have to learn the theory, like those topics, so she said i couldnt do it :(. nobody learns it anyway unless they do musicology as their electives.

i played the prelude in g minor :) not very well tho

I play modern, been playing for about three years, self taught at about grade 3 according to my friends who hear me play and are graded. I'm happy with the pieces I can play and the level of sight reading and composition I am at, although during these study times I dont get much time to play *sigh* :)
