There is supposed to be a production of Queen Lear in Sydney somewhere, at the theatre.
We're going all the way down to see it. Anyone else going to see it, or have seen it?

no there's a representation of King Lear called Queen Lere which is a feminist interpretation of it. I'm going to see it next Friday. Sounds interesting - all the characters sexes are swapped except Oswald and someone else.

Good because I was going to say anybody who gets the name of a famous Shakespeare play confused and genders mixed up should not be doing advanced english.

i didnt take any notes......the bondi production was more of a modern interpretation of lear so there was the annoying buzzing synthetic music and lighting affects which allowed me to write jack
