Let me get this straight. So in a particular subject, do you get the hsc mark corresponding to your internal rank? So lets say if the 5th best mark in your school was 80% and you get the best mark of 98%, do you get the 80% instead if you were rank 5th internally? I've heard this been told to me by so many people and it just seems unfair. So basically, if you're rank 1st, you can just sit back and relax during the HSC as you are already destined to get the top scoring mark. :s
I thought it was like your internal mark averaged with your external, and then scaling/aligning is applied to it. :S
