any1 wanna say what theyre thinking of in terms of raw marks...

well dont forget its out of 105...

my overall at school was 76 but i didnt perform well in these exams i'll probly end up in the late 60s.. dissapointing yes but we move on

My overall at school was 70, grr. In the assessment task before my trails i got 80% and i was doing fairly well, then my performance dropped!

Hopefully for the HSC i'll get around 75-80

If you get in the 70s for standard does it get scaled down really badly? I heard it's extremely hard to get band 5's and band 6's (something like 0.3%).. is that true?

lol same here with limited study in trials i got 77% for paper 2 and 64% or something like that for paper 1 so i got about 70% overall...

but i studied quite hard for this one...

so im hoping for much higher considering in paper 2 for trials i go 17/18/11 11 was the justice game... and i killed it in the hsc so just hoping the other modules did good do and paper 1...

I reckon that paper two killed me (that and the poem of section one AOS).
Aiming for >60/105 but we shall see. Heres hoping my internal rank pulls me up.

ur a bit mis-informed

the bos will allign ur raw mark...so if u think thats 70 raw then it culd get alligned to 73 e.t.c depending how every1 else done...ive talked bout this in my eco raw marks thread

and yes not many people get a hsc mark...have to remember exam mark a few do...but hsc mark(internals+externals) not as much in band 5 and 6...but thats not to do with scaling...nothin to do wid uac...its do to wid bos nd their standards e.t.c

but yea..if the bos does decide ur mark meets the standard nd ur worthy for a band 5...its the uac that scales and discriminates...

hmmm i hoped that explained it...its alot more complicated...but thats the fundamentals

also heres the band performance for 2007.....3.4% got band 5/6 and 35% got band 4

I hope I'm at least in that top 35% or else

I wish could believe that but when i found out how our uai is calculated, english standard is the worst contributor to most students.

What the heck, standard was enjoyable and don't regret doing it, at least its all over
