I'd like to put something out there.
There is no such things as different races among humans.
There is no Arab, or Black, or white, or Latino, or Asian, or Slavic race... there is the Human race and that is it.
End of story.
To me "relationships with a other race" makes me thinking of interspecies relationships... and dating your dog is kinda wrong.
Thinking of people as other races is the basis of Racism. And there has been a significant push in recent years (by people like Edward James Olmos and the likes) to even remove the term from the UN charter altogether.
Yes um do you also object to the term labrador, dalmation or poodle?
No?
No.
As Jeee said diversity is a thing that should be celebrated and many will argue against interracial relationships because the more racial mixing, the less racial diversity. Whilst I do not agree with this statement (mostly because of libidious reasons that have been stated on here time and time again), I can see its' worth and validity.
Racial terms and all stereotypes are necessary. When you say, I'm dating an Asian, it paints a picture in your friends' minds of their appearance. It also gives them a base foundation for their personality (which is very flexibile and can be proven/disproven easily).
Yes, we're all human. No, we're not all the same. Yes, we're all equal. Equal =/= identical.
