i can see why foram didn't study for english..

I still got band 6.

I have done my science SC when I was in Year 9 along with my Preliminary Chemistry & Economics. I have never done any accelerated Maths.

the effort you put in is pretty much the same

standard is a lot harder to get marks in ..

3 band 5s
2 band 6s

and highly competent in computers (92ish?)

there is a whole forum on how its marked but basically you have a raw mark which is what you physically get i.e 97. This mark is then aligned in co-ordination of the whole state. You could say the mark you get on your sc is a rank because the number is just ranked from 100-50. So a mark of 99 on your sc may mean you only got 97% in the actual exam.

see the forum on marking processes or some shit like that.

To answer LOLA!!!!: The school certificate marks that you get aren't your actual raw marks that you get on the paper (they get tampered with a little); refer to the SC marking topics and posts in this forum. But since Jono's marks were so high there is not much more room to gain any extra, that is... all his subjects that he got 99 in, he actually got 98 on the paper which is still amazing. But for science he would have only got 88 on the paper, but then scaled up to 94.

Pretty impressive for someone who's still in year 9.

I don't get all these 2011ers, are they errors or is the class of 2010 really that bad at addition?
