As for the assemblies, they're not always based on sport - most of the time they focus on Debating, Maths/Eng/Science Competitions, Academic awards - and I don't mind them going into Ext Eng - that's prbably why I liked assemblies so much in the beginning of the year
Well yes, we're all Australians - but we all have ethnic background. Yeah our school is a lot stronger in mathematics than we are in English - I think almost half of our 100 Band 6s were from Mathematics.5233andy said:You'd associate impressive maths results with most 'Asians' (we're all AUSTRALIAN!). Oh and sport... I'm getting sick of those stupid sports announcements on Friday mornings about who won and whatnot. Who the hell cares. And assemblies are often plagued with sport announcements, awards and the like; meaning that it often goes into period two, which is extension english! They should have assemblies before Maths periods - doesn't bother me if it goes into calculus and etc.
