FARKING OATH THAT TEST WAS RAT SHIT....ALL but section III was hard.
those texts were sooooooooooo boring!! i was nearly falling asleep trying to read the jibberish crap they blubbered on about.
and the creative writing secition!?! those text templates were soo bad, i memorised 2 stories and i couldnt adapt ANY of em to em coz they chose the hardest shittest most boring ideas ever.
just glad its over.. even if i did fuk it majorly. o well.

personally i thought that text 2 was the worst.
barely any techniques in it...at least with text 3 there was the personification of the landscape with its 'redemptive silence' ect...
section one of this paper was no doubt the strangest, technique and meaning barron i have come accross...however managed to finish the entire exam
Yay 1 down, 5to go :):)

i managed to finish this section as i did it straight after my essay which ment that my creative writing task suffers.

text1 i think i was able to bs my way through and maybe pick up the 3 marks

text 2 i thought was also difficult and i found it hard to link the contrasts to concept of journey like i made contrasts i jst didnt noe how to link it to journey

text 3 i had no idea what was going on i wrote up a load of more bs and then for the 5 marker i basically wrote 1.5 pages of things i cant even remember thats how gay it was

did any1 understand text 2&3 in detail???

Yea i could pick the contrasts in text 2 but it was hard to link it to the journey . !!

text 3 was too hard to do in an examine condition , was like wtf? coas i could only read it once then skim read again.

text 1 was ok... text 2 wasnt very journey like in my opinion.

I wrote just over four pages all up. The first two texts were pretty easy.. text three confused me though! Basically tried to make it up.
Managed to finish the section though in just under 30 minutes so had time to go back and add more to my essay.

For text 3, my opinions were that he said the landscape of australia is vast, and non-linear, that is you have to see it all for yourself and the main theme of the umm whatever type of text it was I can't remember, was that you need to visit and experience a place before you can make up an opinion of it.

errr so that was kinda difficult

Text 2 and 3 especially weren't very easy to comprehend

However, at the start of text 3 there was a quote "One cannot write with conviction about a country and a continent if one has not travelled and explored its furthest reaches."

If you picked up that quote, it was pretty much your answer to question (f)

Rothwell's empiricist viewpoint contrasted with Wilson's commercialisation of stories.

I pretty much talked about that, wrote about a page

It was well good

Lol, I don't think I even digested the questions being asked. After Q's 2+3, I just went brain dead. Coughed up some crap and tried to mould it into an answer lol. Seriously, I only read the entirety of text 1. 2+3 I skimmed and didn't comprehend. I think I blabbered on about text 3 talking about multicultralism and text 2 about worshipping the lifestyle of the past >.>;
