my diels alder reaction today went spectacularly everyone! congratulate me!
hey get this:
i didn't go to a lecture on monday. anyway, we had a bio lab wednesday which involved a calculation, and i asked the lecturer how to do it, and he said "just like we did in the lecture" and i said "well i didn't go to the lecture", and he was like "well that's too bad."
So I walked away defeated from his smug arrogance, talked to my lab partner about it, and then when the class was half empty went back up to him and had a go at him. I says, I say I says, "hey wouldn't it be moar beneficial for our learning if like, you just told us how to do it anyway." and he said "no this hammers home the point about attending lectures. you'll have to get the information off a classmate." and i replied "ok look i won't miss another lecture again, i was there today btw, but you're not doing any good by not telling me."
more smug arrogance later, and i left defeated and without results.
when semester has ended and i've got my result i'll send him a very angry email.
I'm not having much luck with nice lecturers this semester, lol.
Was Murray Thomson, some cell biology hack who looks like John Malkovich except uglier, and with smellier breath.
