Yeah… I'm not trying to be up myself or whatever but I think doing advanced maths is pretty fucked. I can easily do all the regular shit, but the advanced shit is just terrible and I'm so bad at it. Lol. I should've done regular.

Maybe just do reg maths next sem? Or no maths if you don't need it.

Okay, so my degree is like "yeah, do this stuff in second year" and then pre-enrollment is all "lol, you haven't done the prerequisites" and I'm just like "I EVEN DID FUCKING PHYSICS, WHAT MORE DO YOU WANT FROM ME?!"
Yeah, I had a problem last year when I tried to pre-enrol as a subject was being flagged saying that I didn't complete the prereqs. If you contact whoever is in charge of undergraduate services in your faculty/s, then they can override it.

So I've been thinking would the other junior bio unit be better? I figured I should try my hand at some science stuff since I haven't touched it since Year 10 and I'm thinking about specialising in forensic archaeology and because SCIENCE.

SCIENCE. THE FUTURE IS NOW. HOVERBOARDS AND SHIT.

Concepts is apparently super easy and it leads from year 10 work into year 11, part of year 12 and then Uni

(second-hand info)
I've always been shit at science and ended up getting a credit for both 1001 and 1002.

Definitely a do-able unit.

I'm leaning more towards a chemistry major, but considering how closely related these fields are I'm anticipating that familiarity with both will open up more opportunities. Small assessments tend to interfere with my study routine. When I learn a subject I usually sit down and focus only on it for as much time as I need to fully understand the topics.

But I guess I'll keep it for now.

I've got another question I was hoping someone could answer. If I were to finish my third year majoring in A and B (science), and suddenly decided I wanted to major in C and D (also science, assuming I had the pre-req's), would I be simply allowed to change?
A major is usually just 24 senior credit points in the same area. I don't think they actually check which majors you've satisfied until you tell them you're intending on graduating. You do declare them on SSA but I'm 95% sure you can change them.

Excellent, I was just worried about hitting some maximum credit point limit and being kicked out.

I think it's due on the 26th or something.

I've done nothing for it. Lol

I think it's worth like 10%

I'll probably just end up doing the calculations and then dying.
Lol, Wednesday all-nighters are starting to become a routine.

Concepts is deceiving. The lecture material is fairly easy, but make sure you can understand and perfectly recall every single minute detail on each lecture slide, as well as everything the lecturer mentions. Also, don't be afraid to call them out if you think they included something in the exams that you didn't learn. I did this quite a few times and probably added 3%+ onto my grade.

Yeah… I do the tutorial work in the morning (although for the last two I just wrote a page of random stuff lol)

But I stayed back last week and did question one (and then did question two wrong like 8 times!)
Hey is there some trick to the first question? Or is it just something along the lines of multiplying the change in heat capacities by the extent of the reaction?

I'd be happy to sell you my BIOL1903 textbook for half price :D. It's in more or less ideal condition.
well, let's wait until next year because I might get into med (probably)

Awww yea all advanced units for Maths. You go gurl.
yeah, never regular things ever. I'm a masochist. Yay! :D

Rippy, what's manbulge?
manbulge = ManBuLGe = MBLG

Because it you say MBLG really fast it sort of sound like manbulge.

(also, it makes the subject seem more enjoyable)

Okay, apparently I can get a waiver and do Field Methods. YUS! MY DREAMS OF BEING A LESS HOT LARA CROFT CAN BE REALISED. Or I'll just be doing stratigraphy and shit. But I need to axe a unit to make room for it. 1001 - Ancient Civilisations (which I'll have to do eventually as the junior 12cp requirement), 2602 - Minoans and Mycenaeans or GRKA1600 - Intro Ancient Greek. I'm 100% sticking with Intro to Latin since Roman history is baws. I *probably* should wait to do Greek, learning two ancient languages at once might be a mistake.
