You should trust it if you put in the right marks.

Yes trust it;

It basicaly tells you what UAI you would get in previous years with the marks you enter.

People say it is pretty accurate, like, it shouldn't be 30 points inaccurate.

This sucks for you man :(. But, according to your sig you're going for 70-80 in PE and 80-90 in IPT so all hope is not lost.

Just try your hardest!

you shouldnt put your raw marks into the calc. keep in mind that the med uai is 65.

well i read this on wikipedia:
only 29.3% of students will receive a UAI of under 50, and the median UAI is around 65, a statistical trend which is applicable at every UAI level.

It should be Aligned mark. But depending on your subjects, it might / might not make a difference. But usually it should be quite higher than Aligned I think.

The uai on sam, i think, is about 2 points lower then what you would get, i came to this conclusion as i put the marks i entered on the schools uai calculator (relavent with 2007 scaling) for a uai of 94 and then did it for same and got a uai of roughly 92

Well, u should aim to get over 70 //

70 is band 4,, nearly band 3.. Obviously you will get around 40 ~ 50

I personally think the Einstein UAI calculator is much better than SAM. SAM's effin' shit.

google "Uai calculator" and dload the excel macro file for 2006. It's sooo much better.

I used einstein UAI and it was pretty accurate. If you give yourself a five point swing either way, you'll feel less disappointed when you get your actual result.
