Who would've guessed, esp with Gerrard out, that Liverpool would be ahead in the ECL out of all the English teams.

Red 3, Lever 1
Bayern 3, Gunners 1
Man Utd 0, Milan 1
Barca 2, Chelsea 1
I'm not really that surprised that Liverpool are in the best position of all the english teams because Man Utd and Chelsea were faced with extremely tough opposition...and Arsenal had to take on Bayern Munich, who are in great form at the moment.

There were also reports that Barca assistant Henk Ten Cate was involved in a scuffle in the tunnel with Mourinho - where it is alleged Cate kicked the Chelsea manager on his backside. This could have something to do with him not turning up to the press conference.

Iwould pay to see Mourinho have his ass kicked :D

LOL! I think many people feel the same way:p
I wouldn't be surprised if the guy that kicked Mourinho suddenly disappears due to Abramovich's links with the Russian Mafia though....

Im glad Barca beat chelsea in style! It was disappointing to hear chelsea playing an ultra defensive style in the match after spending so much money on a team that rarely ventured into the opposition half as they looked to soak up the Barca pressure and play on the break. But Barca played their spectacular football and couldve gone a couple of goals ahead in the first ten minutes. Barca were simply superior and even had to score an awsome goal for chelsea!
Mourinho tried to wind up Barca and Rijkaard with his pre-match declarations and tactics,'But Frank didn't take the bait and with his usual cool and elegance he avoided a clash with the Portuguese. He said he preferred to do his talking on the pitch and he did just that.
As a Barca fan i believe they will come out on top of chelsea at stamford bridge which will surely be a more entertaining match.

Arsenal striker Jose Antonio Reyes has been banned for three matches for violent conduct in the FA Cup fifth-round tie against Sheffield United on Saturday. Reyes has been found guilty of violent conduct for slapping Andy Liddell around the face in a fracas which also led to the dismissal of Dennis Bergkamp, who has also been banned for three games.

wonder what Wenger had to say about that.

i'm not sure that Wenger will be happy about it, but i'm pretty happy because it virtually guarantees United at least 2nd place.

Arsenal was very harshly punished. Berkamp didn't really deserve to be sent off since he wasnt the one who pushed the Sheffield player but then again he did look like he was threatening him.

One of those three games would be the fa cup replay right?

Thats correct. Reyes and Bergkamp will miss the Premiership games against Southampton and Portsmouth as well as the FA Cup replay against Sheffield United.
