i bet you're really talking about yourself, hehe.

anyways, there was this similar dude in my grade, he didnt talk to anyone and he was generally weird, so that made him a social outcast.

if you dont make the effort to socialise then you're a confirmed outcast and it's your own fault.
otherwise it could be because no one likes you.
Nah if it was really me, I wouldn't even share it online. I mean my friend is so sensetive about this, he'll never admit it.

fact: there will always be social outcasts in high school. no if, buts or maybes.

i wasnt so much a social outcast at school. i was more like the target of bullying. so i changed my attitude and people stoped treating me like shit when i stood up to them.

I agree with you. There are a few of them at school. I normally take the time to say hi to them, hug them and ask how they are if I'm passing by in the hallways or something. Kids are cruel.

In high school, people would rather be "hated" than be "invisible."

me and a friend played this game

and it was who could be the biggest social outcast

but yeah we stopped it becaus we were becoming unpopular with everyone
That is the most fucked up game i've ever heard of. its not even fun. =.="

I was a social outcast back in years 7 - 9.

Everyone should start maturing year 10 and after. In my year, social outcasts didn't exist in year 11. In fact, some of the former social outcasts became friends with the people who started bullying them.

So after year 9 I just started making friends. Joined football/rugby teams, made new friends, sat around with different people in different classes.

OP, your school sounds really horrible man. I feel really sorry for your friend...

BTW, ive just noticed theres a lot of bully in girls schools, while bullying at boys schools is almost non-existant. Am I the only one? I always used to think it was the other way round.

the lack of tact that social outcasts seem to have is a factor

i think they think that arrogance is a means to act cool but it really isnt because of their situation

we've got a dude like that at our school, also hes pretty ugly and fat so yeah that also contributes

honestly, all it takes is one nice comment to lift them up, unless they take it badly or just spit in your face then yeah whatevs

What makes one and why are they treated so badly, I c this guy at my school, his just basically used by all people, people look at him wierdly and shit. I just find it really appalling, I guess I'm the only person to talk to him.

I talked to one of these kids. he never smiled and he thought he was better than everyone else. he left highschool with a huge crush on me ad was voted to be most likely to commite columbine.

Heres the thing, I wasn't doing my part for the community or anything. I'm nice enough to talk to people. Anywho he scares the shit out of me nowadays so I have a photo on the computer of him with his full name and last known residence incase something happens.
hahahah, how weird

People at my school are still major cunts. I used to cop shit last year but over the Christmas holidays, it changed. Seen afew people on their own who were acting like dickheads to me and lets just say... I sorted them out.. Since then, they've shut up.

Take my advice, social outcasts are best left as social outcasts.
When i first changed schools there was this one guy always lonered, never talked, wore his pants really high, etc. and everyone i asked said he pulled out scissors and started chasing/threatening people in year 7 so nobody would talk to him.
Thinking he probably made one mistake and people had to get over it or had changed his ways since those days I tried to be nice and talk to him.
First he yelled some profanities and then kicked me in the balls.
He may have been an outcast but the guy could kick hard.
So then i got known as the guy that got beat up by a freak, even though I wouldn't classify it as a 'beat up', but that didn't stop people making fun of me.
Luckily people did get over it, but fora while there i felt like the outcast.
So yeah, befriend at your own risk.
