Software Engineering Textbook for HSC [FREE] (1 Viewer)

Hey!

So we all know how frustrating it is that the authors of the main textbook are 2 years delayed.... So I decided to make my own one! It is written for both Year 11 and 12 and it is free and open source! It would be greatly appreciated if people went through, gave feedback and made their own adjustments.

How did I make it?
- Used AI to write over 120,000 lines of documentation. Thanks GitHub education!
- Manual review is took place to ensure accuracy and coherency.

What is included?
- Dedicated chapters and sections that correspond to syllabus dot points
- Multiple choice quizzes for every section

Update!

We just reached 200 users!!! (That allow tracking lol. So probably a lot more)


Things Added Recently:
- Built-in code editor.
- You can run the code that is in the page
- Added a glossary. These words can be hovered over on any page to get immediate feedback on definitions.

Things coming soon
- Small documentation cleanups.
- Diagrams need a bit of work.

Looking ahead
- Short response questions. Add an AI question marker
- Improve flask instructions

You can help in two ways:
1. Send feedback. Create an issue on github to let me know how to improve or if you have any fresh ideas.
2. Contribute. Make your own changes. Create a pull request.
3. Spread the word. Tell others. Tell your class teacher. The more people that know of the textbook the more feedback we can get to improve.
