Well, we can play at super lower grade cricket... right?

What form do they play anyway? T20 I suppose?

T20? Lolwut no, looks like a mix of ODIs and test games.

Yeah you can play lower grades, but it is a serious comp so you obviously have to go to training twice a week and then the match on the weekend etc.

but yeah training and then matches on the weekend... suppose that's the downside. the training, i mean. i'm not that fit. plus i have no gear.

Best just to go to the signups/trials and ask questions there

lol youre not going to die

its not that hardcore, its mainly where most of the juniors start so there are lot of 15/16 yo players in it and a mix of older players who just arent good enough for higher grades.

Ive heard some say that local A-Grade comps play at a higher standard than 5th grade due to the abundance of 15/16 yo players

Also.. umm, how fast to the fast bowlers bowl in 5th grade? 120? 130? 110?

Haven't ever played 5th grade but my logic is that it's probably all shit players, doubt they would hit 100+

Nah man no cricket for me, playing touch footy this semester, not gonna do >1 sport since i've got 30 uoc this sem.

If I played cricket I'd go 2nd/3rd grade anyway, played a lot before

O-Week, I suppose. They have a stall for each sport.

If we look here: http://www.cricket.unsw.edu.au/Reports/reports0708.htm , we see that UNSW's Cricket Club isn't that good. So if I sign up... and can lead the team to victory - AWESOME!
