yet why are individual candidates discouraged from offering incentives themself... one is not allowed to run bbq's on union election day because it might draw votes...
Incentive to vote vs incentive to vote for an individual candidate.

The idea (I imagine) is that your vote should be based on a decision about policy and not food, but efforts through food etc to get you to the point of making such a decision should be encouraged. It seems like a good idea to me, who wouldn't take a bit of time to vote if u get a sausage sandwich out of it? While you're getting you're voting anyway, you might as well have a little look at the posters and pick who you think represents you best.

Well I'd say it either wasn't advertised well enough, it takes too long to actually get your reward or people are THAT fed up with student politics that they're willing to fore go the reward.

I strongly doubt there aren't large numbers of students interested in a free feed.

What's with the vandalising of the hype stuff? I noticed it today...like one in the graffiti tunnel now says 'dyke', and i think the people from the other ticket, whatever it's called, did something to the other one on Eastern Avenue.
Anyone in the know?

Wow I can't believe I saw Ben Lee numerous times in uni last week.

Who's idea was it to put Noah's face in the Now posters? Horrible, I'm definately not voting for them for that.
