Yeh I know. CSSA paper this year was extremely straightforward compared to previous years.

Usually, I get ~85% in CSSA papers but I mark very harshly, even for myself, very strict to the guidelines. In the actual HSC, marking is very tight and usualy expect certain aspects to an answer.

I only get ~75% when marking my own papers (incidentally, that's what I got in the trial itself). I haven't really studied that much for chemistry - yet. One thing I've realised though; CSSA MC seem easier than HSC MC (not many trick questions).

just sayin - i got 89 in physics raw and that aligned to 94, so the required cutoff for chem is more than likely higher.

It's possible that the difficulty of last year's HSC paper could have made the benchmarks higher...
