Yeh; I have the same problem. I study at my local library after school or the State Library is pretty good. It's really quite quiet there !

Do you listen to music when you study?

Some of my friends say listening to soft music without lyric (classical music) helps you concentrate. Well i tried it but i just cant concentrate on study while i listen to music.. How about you guys?

I dont, because even if I finish my study I'm not able to retain any information after i complete it, and for maths thats extremly importnat that you should undertsnad, so personally i dont listen to music, I just cant concentrate with any type of music, i did before tho, like early last year, but then my marks wernt as high so i stopped :)

I can't study seriously with any music on. Sometimes I do homework with music at a really. really low volume though

I will do my homework with music in the background. But when it coems to studying i will lock myself into a dead quite room with no distraction (still yet to find that room >.<) and make sure it actually absorbs ino my brain..

Softer post rock works better than anything else (especially Godspeed You! Black Emperor).

Re: Do you listen to music when you study?

I generally always listen to music while i study.

I do so to either block out annoying background noise (people talking etc etc) or to make noise (don't like studying while its quite because i get bored...).

Any music that i like i'd listen to while studying ^^

Re: Do you listen to music when you study?

listening to music when doing homework or study is good for me, they tend to give me motivation and make it more enjoyable. i am hardly ever not listening to musics anyway, im listening to r kelly right now =p.
