Re: Suits Discussion (starting from Jan 17th 2013 return)

Might just go rewatch that last minute then.

I read it more as a sinister message to Louis. Harvey ripping it up whilst glaring implied Harvey found Louis weak and soft to leave at the time he did and thus was the final blow. But watching it again Ill see if i misread it.
Harvey isn't happy, but he's willing to make it work.

Rachel gets more and more annoying by the episode.

And I hope this Katrina lawyer (Harvey's prosecutorial hire) stays around. She's kinda epic.

I actually find that katrina lady much more annoying than rachel....

Katrina sort of popped out of nowhere, with that guys case who was high and hit someone, then eventually found her way into pearson/hardman through a perfect turn of events (take too long to type up)... where as rachel has built her character since early season 1

anyway, aside from that, I skimmed through season 1 episode 1 and 2 louis looks skinny lol

It was kinda anti-climactic. I mean, what, Monica Eaton all of a sudden had a conscience?

Edit: Also disappointed that Katrina Bennett didn't make a re-appearance.

Re: Suits Discussion (starting from Jan 17th 2013 return)

The thing that is getting really old about Suits is how repetitive shit is:

Harvey: He gets cases, he wins cases, he brags about it. Rinse and repeat.
Donna: She helps Harvey, she's loyal to Harvey, she knows everything there is to know about Pearson Hardman. Sometimes she pines for Harvey. Rinse and repeat.
Rachel: She's a cesspool of insecurity. She pines about Mike. She whines about only being a paralegal. She pines about Mike. She whines about her dad. She pines about Mike. Rinse and repeat.
Jessica: She's some graceful fierce bitch that runs shit. Rinse and repeat.

That's pretty much been the storyline of EVERY SINGLE EPISODE.

The only sort of character development or character arc is Louis. He's what makes the episodes different. That and the additional side characters like Katrina Bennett and Zoe Lawford and Travis Tanner.

Don't forget Daniel Hardman, he may be a bit of a (actually he is a total) dick, but he adds something extra to the show.

No, you're right. I just have something against Daniel Hardman and maybe even the actor (David Costabile). Something about him freaks me out. Maybe the way he speaks.

im actually a bit confused as to what is going on.... I swear the writers have become extremely cryptic, and expect their viewers to all be lawyers or law students...

I don't fully understand everything, but you sort of get the general idea of it.
They obviously have to write a solid story line that somewhat reflects the real world (without the added drama) or those who understand the legal frameworks would be like "this is bullshit" *changes channel*

yeah good point man. same here, I sort of understand the main idea of how they are competing with hardman over the 45 cases, I just feel a little bit left out
