No.. no they're not, angels are not humans. I've heard some suggestions that humans might be angels, but not vice versa. Time isn't really an important theme in Evangelion, so no, time doesn't factor into it. I wouldn't worry too much about the nitty gritty details of the explanation anyway. It's not as deep as it makes itself out to be. It really boils down to a lot of pop psychology and glittered up Christianity. If you really want to see that sort of thing, read the manga of Angel Sanctuary instead. It's available on emule and isn't as nearly as confusing. Just be weary of the incest in the first couple of volumes.

Angels are not human. From my knowledge, angels like humans are the children of Lilith (the big white 7 eyed thing in Terminal Dogma that's pinned by the Lance of Longinus most of the seres). It's a very biblical series, so being an atheist most subtler religious references fly right by me.

Full Metal Panic was such a let down. the guy, Sagara was it? his character was distorted from how he was before. After he beat Gauln? it stops? cause i don't have any other episodes besides FMPF and haven't watched it yet. Is there a point to the story besides being a bit funny?

FMP is your typical Gonzo anime. Actually for Gonzo's standards it's pretty good. Wait till you see "I Wish You Were Here" Peeeeeeeeuuuuuuuuuwwwwwwww. Gonzo's one plot mechanism in of their anime is replacing robots with bigger robots, then when they get defeated, even bigger robots until finally... bum bada bum.. they face.. the boss robot! FMPF is better in the sense that it replaces all the substandard action and craptastic plot and keeps it just to humour. For possibly the only decent Gonzo anime, watch Vandread. It's still very standard giant robot fare, but the second season has some memorable episodes at least.

Full Metal Panic Fumofuu was funny but it just suddenly stops at episode 12 or are there more? it doesn't have an ongoing plot, more like 2, 15 minute skits. oh well.

Ah My Goddess is far worse than both Love Hina and Chobits. I heard the movie's ok though. For a good anime of the nerdy guy gets chased by hot chicks mold, go for the classic "Maison Ikkoku". Another great romantic comedy is His and Her Circumstances/Kare Kano.

the first few eps wont explain anything about spike vs vicious...its the later episodes that deal with that
