Don't know if this qualifies seeing as I have next to zero knowledge of this genre, The Herd's cover of Only 19 is a pretty awesome track

pharrel & kanye west - number one (will be a hit, definently - in a few weeks or months). Nice mainstream song though, definently something u'd get sick of it when it becomes lebanised though.

I feel like pooing in ears now.

EDIT: BTNH ft Lil Eazy - This Ain't A Game. Layzie and Krayzie got mad verses. Haven't heard anything from them for ages. If only Bizzy was still in the group. :(

finally i fucking found it!!!!

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=AbN15aCscpg&search=TI performance

a must watch

they do 'bring em out' with a live band (after he does 'you dont know me' which the P$C fucked up a bit)

but FUCK that live band was AMAZING, the trumpets etc, one of the best live band rap music songs ive heard.

also theres one of a live band (with travis barker) on the drums doing 'what you know' and 'you dont know me' which also sound amazing.

must watch.

definently not dissapointed with ice cubes new album 'laugh now, cry later' the beats are all bangers and the lyrics aren't bad at all. One of the better mainstream albums so far this year.

Talib Kweli has a new album called Eardrum coming soon. First single "Listen" is tight, I heard it on FBI the other day and you can lsiten on his myspace site.

Also check out MF Grimm's album "American Hunger".

SPank Rock's Yo Yo Yo Yo Yo is also pretty cool. If you listen to Triple J they've played a few of their songs.

And People Under the Stairs have released a new album this year called Stepfather, favourite track is definetly Acid Raindrops. The beat sounds very familiar to 2pac's "When we ride" but still a dope track.

im so sick of the ne-yo album now, its been lebanised and bimboised and 96.1ised too much.

plus dude wins the 'GET THE FUCK OUTTA HERE' award of the year for his comments on radio a few days ago. He was rating singers in terms of talent:

avant - 7
donell jones - 7
CHRIS BROWN - 9!!! FUCKING 9!!! only little girls and wannabes like him!!!

avant and donell jones actually have talent, ne-yo does to but that dude needs a catscan.
