Coles really needs to increase the discount we get. Seriously, 5% is nothing, that chump change - we might as well have no discount at all.
Yea it is sucky but it will eventually add up.

I got my new one today. Still a piece of crappy cardboard that will deteriorate in about a week.

Hm.. I've had no problems with my card..
It still looks like the day I got it lol
Probably because it's 5% and I've never bothered to use it

The ones from the previous half year were better.. they had a BIT of a plastic coating.. lol I had a collegue whose card somehow split in half.. as in, the front and the back of the card are separated.. I don't know how she managed that

Woolworths discount cards are actual plastic, as in like a keycard.
Maybe coles should think of that?
We can't afford fancy shit like that.

Yo! Happy belated bday!

The rates from 07 for a casual 18yo:
Ord - $13.26
Pen1.7 - $18.788 [Sunday]
Pen2.2 - $24.31 [after 9pm or before 6am on a Sunday]
PH - $29.84

Im curious.. how do these rates compare to a Woolies employee?

I'm a Bi-Lo boy in the Deli Department at South West Rocks. :)
I get $13.94 an hour, or $19.75 on Sundays, and $27.88 on Public Holidays. I've been there since November 2005. It's alright, sometimes stressful when you have heaps of cleaning and filling to do and you're by yourself during a close. The cool thing about Bi-Lo is that we're a crappy version of Coles, so we don't have so many standards to meet. We only missed out by 2 weeks on being converted to Coles last year before they stopped the conversions.

Who hates the new Christmas uniforms?
OMG I WAS JUST ABOUT TO WRITE ABOUT THAT!!

My manager showed me the uniforms today.. and she's like, you're a medium.. and hands me a medium.. a take it out of the bag and seriously, you can fit TWO of me inside that shirt.

So I found a small.. and tried that on.. and it makes me look daggy..
I thought the blue uniforms were bad enough but this is like beyond bad [on a girl].

Some guys at our store actually look really good in them..
But it's more a male shirt.. she shoulders are too big on me and the neck is too tight..

Definately not wearing it.
I can't believe that shit comes in XL..
