Re: The Official Cricket Thread

Hilfy's got 5, Looks like a master-stroke that they dropped him and he went back and re-worked his action and seam position.

I was going to say, I might have been one of only Australians willing Tendulkar on yesterday, when he got bowled...I hoped it was Rahul Dravid ;)

Re: The Official Cricket Thread

Only issue I have with Test matches is the fact they have to have advertisements after every over.

Re: The Official Cricket Thread

Erasmus is the bigger one. I think he is a great umpire though (generally).
He is on par with Bucknor for the guy that produces the howlers (either way).

This partnership looks good.

Re: The Official Cricket Thread

you're an Indian supporter?
Clearly i'm not wanted in this thread :p

I mainly support them just to mix things up amongst my friends (all of whom support aus). Makes things more interesting.

I have no issue with this because there's a short break in between overs anyway

that happens in all forms of cricket though

That's IPL iirc

India, the only Test nation not to adapt UDRS, always hated them (except Sachin, whatta legend)

Haha especially after Hussey and that other guy yesterday (lol forgot who it was)

And yeah there are also heaps of bitches there. The attitudes of some of the younger players who think they're top shit. *sigh*

The Indian team is so old (with tendulkar, dravid, sehwag, laxman ect). That's their whole top order lol.
They need to start flushing in some new blood slowly (even if they get a little crapper).

If you hate Dravid you are a dick, plain and simple. After Gilchrist he is far and away the nicest, fairest, most noble guy to play in the modern era. Can understand people not liking Ganguly, Bhajji, Sreesanth, Yuvraj and Dhoni, they're pretty arrogant, forceful, inyaface sort of personalities but Dravid, Laxman, Zaheer and of course Sachin have been absolute gentleman all their careers.

I never said I hated Dravid. I consider him a class act and his Bradman oration was very respectable.

Only singled out Sachin because, well, he's Sachin.
