The JPM and Villeneuve fight occured after a practice session after Villeneuve "brake tested" JPM in his rookie year. Actual conversation:

McLaren are using 2005 spec cars, but be reminded that development is continual and it's still early on, and plus, it's McLaren so I wouldnt be surprised if we see a MP4-20A, MP4-20B and a MP4-20C.
