What are everyone's thoughts on the qualifying format for the world cup? Many people say that it includes too many 'crap' countries like australia, but in my opinion if you let all the best teams qualify it would just become the euro with a few south american teams. It is the WORLD cup after all. So i support the current format, its important for football as a sport to have smaller footballing countries to be represented in the WC.

Hasn't the NRL and AFL season already finished though?

IIRC, the A-League and the NRL/AFL seasons aren't run simultaneously.

Hmm, well i dont think enough people watch it for it to be put up on those channels... Ive watched a couple of australia/a-league games at the actual stadium, but never a-league since i dont have fox sports. If people start supporting it, the league will grow in reputation and then better overseas players will start coming in and eventually our own aussie players will get better.

Talking about Bosnia right? I have a mate who went crazy lol, and apparently Bosnia is going haywire becasue they made it for the first time lol

Yep! Haha wouldnt be surprised... Dude search up the celebrations on youtube, they went absolutely apeshit, and rightfully so! Big moment in our history :p

Apparently they show a live A-League game on SBS2 on Friday nights now.
