I think the owners of the 2 players' contracts, some media company, wants to take over West Ham.

"And in actual fact it makes a lot of sense given previous reports that the company which owns the rights to both players have been wanting to get them into England in order to realise their value through making them attractive to big offers by initially placing them with ambitious, stable clubs (Portsmouth have also been linked) on a season's loan, the aim being to get massivev offers from United or Chelsea in 12 months' time."

Plus other theories as well, mainly with the sponsors MSI.

As a West Ham fan and our ambitions for europe and a top 6 finish this year this is great news for us and the fans, but in the long run we'll have to sign 2 players to fill the void once they leave!

Though this isnt gonna stop me putting Tevez on the back of my new West Ham jersey though :D

MSI is just a money launderin business for the dirty Russians to invest in football, oh well what can we do.

For the fans it'll be great, but I guess that's what it really matters, entertainment on the field, whether it has been materialised legally or not.

Huth to Middlesborough is pretty interesting..... That probably means another defender is on the cards unless Bourrrrrrr was his replacement...

Dunno if anyone has mentioned the Maniche move to Athletico. That's prett good too.

Some goonski is so annoyed at Arsene that he came up with some lyrics. Sing it to the tune of Stan by Eminem

"Dear Arsene, Its last day but you still avent signed
I left my wish , my dream, and my total support is with Arsenal
Ashley and Reyes have been going since start of summer rest
There probably no one willing to meet our selling price or something
Sometimes I wish I didn’t love Arsenal like I do
but anyways; f*ck it, what's up? Man how's your squad?
my friends wonder if we will hack it this season with those players
If I needed to shoot someone today, it has to be you
I'm mad at your dealings
I hear you have a degree in economics and it sucks now
I have seen accountants too stingy to spend even on themselves
I know you probably live your life that way, but this is competition
I even cry and get depressed when Arsenal is off colour
I got my diary full of Arsenal appointments over the next nine months
I like the sh*t you did with Anelka too, that sh*t was phat
Anyways, I hope you get us players, sign them all,
we got to compete, truly yours, biggest Arsenal fan
This is Dan"

hahahahhaha, MSI did the deal. They didn't sign for your club, the owners of their contracts moved them there and once you don't qualify for the champions league they'll want to leave your poxy club and go to chelsea, utd or arsenal. enjoy it while you can though.

Things are certainly lookin very very fishy here, almost every aspect of the deal is undisclosed. It's just a way for MSI to transfer their dirty money across the world.

Oh and West Ham, brace yoself for a takeover.

Great signings for the Hammers.

And Chelski leave it late to sign Cashley, Gallas moving the other way...

The West ham transfers are definetely fishy ... I bet the cunt Abramovich is a shareholder in MSI, West Ham will be subject to a takeover bid soon and the Argentinian duo will end up replacing Kalou/Drogba and Makalele at the Scum ...

Dwight Yorke blames Sydney for not extending contract, i think getting back with Keane and more money is probably a more believable reason ...

Totenham look to have a very strong side now with the additions of Chimbonda and Malbranque ...

Jan Lastuvka is a god in FM, he's now joined Fulham i wonder how he will go ...

Arsenal Squad

GK: Lehmann, Alumnia

Defenders: Eboue, Lauren, Sanderos, Djourou, Toure, Gallas, Chichy, Flamini, Hoyte

Midfield: Hleb, Ljunberg, Fabregas, Baptista, Rosicky, Gilberto, Diaby, Walcott, Flamini

Gallas is probably amongst the top 4 or 5 defenders in the world- far better than Cole even, I'd value him at around £10m-15m, with around another 5 good years in him. It's not a bad deal at all for Arsenal, especially considering that Cashley was probably unsettling the squad by being there anyhow. A Gallas-Toure partnership in the centre of the Arsenal defence will be awesome, with Senderos as backup for teams that favour the aerial route.

Looking at all the transfers, one team's coups this period has been far greater than any other. Portsmouth have dominated the transfer market.
Kanu has already established himself with 3 goals in as many games, and James, Johnson and Campbell are combining superbly in goal and at the back, two away games and they still haven't conceded. It'll be very interesting when they go up against Tottenham and Chelsea next month...
