But I loved Ralph, especially his *SPOILER SCROLL DOWN QUICK OMGGG*blowing bubbles against the dome and the backflow burning his eye.

Ironically, you're not a true simpsons fan! It was "blowback" not "backflow"!

wasn't it "dadily doodily" to flanders?

or was that something else
nah that was in like season 12 or something.

when homer and marge are bad parents.

so the children live with the flanders.

then they're in the lake geting baptised at the end.

thats when she says that.

the first one is one of those flashback episodes.

its at the end and homer and lisa are arguing.

homer puts maggie to bed saying something like i hope u never say a word.

then he leaves.

then she says dadda.

So me not hearing the word properly makes me a non-true simpsons fan, nice.

Either way, you get the idea.

That part was awesome.

The spider pig was funny. Bart was crap. They showed Lisa too much-very annoying.

But the whole movie was ok, good thing i wasn't expecting something huge.

When I saw it
and it got to the part where the screen went blank with "To be continued" the cinema went quiet and some random kid at the front moaned "are you serious?"

none of the jokes were very subtle. they seemed to shove every bit of humor into the audiences face while screaming "LOL DAMNIT LOL I COMMAND YOU!"

unfortunately, a great deal of the jokes werent even related to the storyline. from seeing the ads i was wondering how they would manage to set up a "bart skateboards around town naked" scene:
Homer: Hey lets do something. I dare you to skateboard around town naked.
Bart: ok.

the movie was ok, but it felt more Family Guy-ish than classic 90's Simpsons.

Show's been like that for ohh I dunno, nigh on 7 years now? :(

I watched it knowing I wouldn't enjoy it that much. And yep, it was mediocre, at best :(

well the movie wasn't all that flash but it was much more than i expected. not that suprising considering how heaps of people were bashing and the incoherent movie ads it before it was even released.

strangely enough the movie didn't feel simpsons ish to me. personality wise the characters seemed a bit different from the cartoons. like they kinda exagerated homer's naivety and made him out as more retarded than usual.

i wonder wat ever happened to the pig. did he get killed or sumthing?
