Thanks for that information guys, it really gave me a better understanding of how things work^^

One question - your first mark is the only one they use for the WAM but if you do a course again and get a higher mark, then are both marks displayed on the transcript or just the higher one?

i think both marks would be shown, but they'd both count towards ur wam.

eg if i did a course, failed it, and repeated it, and then passed it, then both would count towards wam and both would be shown.

im pretty sure of this, someone else can confirm.

what time does enrollment open?
as far as I can see, if you login to myunsw, click 'my student profile', then 'enrolment appointments', then select 'view enrolment appointments for Semester 2 2009', it should show you the dates :) Mine says 21 May, not sure if it's the same for everyone else.

Not even sure if I'm entirely correct here...someone please correct me if I'm wrong  but that's what I found when I went searching for possible enrolment dates.

I'm quite sure your lecturers will have provided information in lectures or on certain sections on webct how to reference material from databases. As students of psychology we had to take a mini course on referencing journal articles. I'm pretty sure your course has information lying around.

Then theres always google -> CaseBase referencing guidelines

There are different styles of referencing so you should probably ask which one they want you to use

I don't know anyone who knows anything about B Social Science...it doesn't look very appealing to me, but meh, as long as i get to major in psyc.

B Social Science is a load of shit. I did it for a semester back in first year. It's just a specialised version of arts where you can major in something stupid like criminology as well.

If you want to major in psyc, switch to B Com/Sci.
