Yep, the spot is made up of two different colour spots.. I will take a picture of the brochure tomorrow incase people don't see it at their store :)
and they have new badges too, stainless steel ones (like BigW)

Edit:
well, from afar they will look pretty similar, but when you get up close you can tell the difference.
Thanks, i just saw your & babikakez posts saying you preferred them - thank goodness! cause i was thinking i might regret getting it.... just wish it would hurry up and arrive cause i really need it soon. :(

Yeah when I actually saw the plain one on someone last week it really washed her out.

Get your SSM to hurry them up, in the meantime they may give you a spare from HR since you've been waiting so long (well they offered that for me).

I have, cause I was emailing Spotless directly and then the woman comes back and says oh I don't have your credit card details (to give me a refund) (despite me paying for it on credit card) so we tried ringing and the perth office said no one worked there with that name, and then they put us through to the melbourne office and they said no one worked there with that name. this seemed pretty dodgy to me, so i talked to my SSM. he called HR and they couldnt do anything, so they called Spotless and I saw my SSM the other say and he said that the a spotless person was coming out to the store to see him. No idea what is going on now with that now...

And I emailed Total Image and they said that the shirts would ship from the 11th November, well my order status on the site is currently listed as 'Warehouse' WTF
As you can see this has been a massive saga - all I want is a shirt! :(

I hope we get new stainless steel name badges too, that would fit nicely with the 2010 look. The current badges look boring now...only coz I've seen them too often

Townie/others, does anybody remember the keyboard shortcut/button in StoreLine to change the language from English (or whatever the default is) to Woolworths language?

Can't seem to find it documented anywhere...

One of our old 2ICs from bakery lasted about 6 months in our store, and was then (forcibly) transferred to another store, as a bakery assistant. She was a very poor 2IC, did a lot of stupid things, blah blah blah, we all resent her.

It's been confirmed that our area bakery specialist intends to swap quite a few positions around... We are definitely losing EITHER our Manager (to the SMT program, with our 2IC being promoted to manager) or our 2IC (to bakery manager in another store). Today it has been said by two or three people at work that this ex-2IC of ours has it posted all over her Facebook that she has been offered the 2IC position in our department.

If this is true, myself and 2 full time packers, as well as one of the bakers and one of our pastry chefs will leave. (No kidding, that's how serious we are).

Fun fun fun.

woolworths has its own language now? :)
haha yeah, it just changes all the words into woolworths jargon instead of the default wording the company that makes the software uses... like instead of "POS Declaration" or something woolworths language makes it "Spot-check Register"

Catching up on lost pages.

What do you do if a customer is short, and you are left standing there like ......
Two teens brought 2 drinks, came up thirty five cents short, 1 guy already started drinking his.. they basically started walking slowly away like it was no probs what so ever..
I should have made him put 1 back, but I put the 35c in myself..

Any advice on what to do, apart from the simple "refuse sale"?
Anything in the 5-50c range I usually let slide. You're not going to be investigated or anything + it only happens once a week + woolworths' bottom line can cope + good customer service.

Also I've heard of stores where the managers carry a cordless phone around, now that's a great idea!
Yes. But i think it must be being phased out. My old store has them even thought it's really small, but that's the only place I've seen them ever.

Oh and the stripey shirt is for Service Manager, Service Supervisors, SSM, STM, SM, according to the brochure. But it could be dependent on your store. I don't think they want supervisors at our store to wear them... but I guess if we're wearing them we can do away with vests... despite the fact I don't have one (still 'on order' apparently, lol).
I am going to get a stripey one and a spot one to start off with. New store are anal about vests so they'll probs be anal about this too. Got my debit card in the mail woo. So my current shirts are medium, so i should order medium from total image?

Haha, they used to have a CSM badge, but haven't seen that in a long time.
Yeah they're on the poster for the current uniform but i have never seen them.

I thought this was normal?
Our store has one for SM, SSM, STMx2 and I think another for the duty manager... fairly sure it's 5 in total.

We used to have an intercom on all the registers before our refurb which was really good.
And we had this, until our old store manager got the shits about 'overuse'.

Greg Foran came into our store a few weeks ago wearing that shirt and that badge. And i must say,,, it looked good!!
I think the shirt looked sexy!!
It actually looks pretty lame in the picture but in real life it looks 100x better. Anyway, the spotted shirts should be a nice change from the boring shirts we've got now.

Ordered 2 shirts, both spotted, 1 S/S and 1 3/4.
Though I don't like the sleeves on the S/S. But oh well.

Can anyone help me?

I'm trying to order off total image, and it says my payment details are invalid, but I'm pretty sure that's because it is making my shipping address the same as my billing address (which is my store address not my house) and it refuses to let me change it to my home address so it matches up with the card!>!?? does anyone know how to change it?

Billing address & shipping address should be your store.
Are you sure you've typed in the expiry, number & CRN correctly?

OK so i didn't change anything and just tried again and it worked. Woo. However I'm scared I'll never get them because when i pressed 'review' order, the address of my store had change to 'Queensland' despite retaining correct suburb, road and postcode. Might send of a quick confirmatory email.
