Also MY MUM IS FINALLY GONE! This one girl in Deli said to me 'Soo glad shes gone, she was such a bitch' I was like yeahhh...mum is a bitch. Her face was just like :O is she you MUM?! Yeah...felt like calling her a derro slut bitch..mainly cos she is.
I'd feel like dying if I was that Deli person after saying that then finding out she was your mum LOL. I'd just wanna go invisible, haha.

Haha! The deli is pretty derro.

There is a total evil bitch customer who i intensely dislike and i found out after like a year that her daughter is one of our supervisors, i really hope i never said anything.

Speaking of evil molls, one of the bakery reps yesterday was a major one. She kept following everyone around and asking irritating questions at the busiest moments. The SSO was hell-bent on avoiding her, to the point where I had to distract the rep in the Merch office while the SSO snuck into the safety of the Cash office undetected.

I'm starting to learn the terms (STM, SSM), etc.
Our STM is a really nice guy, easy to talk to, nice, etc. I know who my SSM is now, and i'm pretty scared of her lol.
No idea who the SSS is, and not sure what they do exactly either.

*woolworths educational hat on* (even though I'm not entirely sure myself)

The Store Services Specialist is like the second most important person in the Area Office, and is in charge of Service, Cash/Systems and all the money stuff for all the stores in their Area. So like they come and make sure that all your magazine returns are in order and that trolley boys are wearing the appropriate clothing and that you don't have too many register discrepancies and that correct store services procedures are being followed etc. I think. E.g. i called ours one day when we weren't sure if there was a limit on how many Sim cards could be bought per customer. Shizz like that.

We got a Memo this morning about ADT (The guys that take and deliver our money)...Anyway some guy had his uniform stolen, so the memo was just saying to make sure C/o staff always check their ID, make sure the van is parked outside, make sure they have the alarmed briefcase etc etc.

I think you'd have to be pretty stupid to try something like that.

I think the HRS is higher.

Wow, I've always wondered what the region breakups were:

1) Were you rostered on Sunday night and then the shift changed without much notice?

2) Payslips were actually printable on Monday, So they should have been available on Tuesday really. Is your cash office lazy? :p
I worked Sunday 14-19, it was a late roster change, maybe it hadn't been officially adjusted?

Usual Cash office lady wasn't in till Tuesday. She's also currently training new staff, so shes prob running behind

Hey guys, I'm about to be shipped to QUT Kelvin Grove and will also be living in the Urban Village.

Can someone list me three stores that are closest to QUT and the Urban Village? Google and the Woolies Store Locactor are showing contradictory results (Some are pointing to suburbs miles away, others are pointing to stores 300m apart). I need the three stores for transfer preferences. Your help will be appeciated

Is anyone getting an enormous amount of special tickets tomorrow? I was emotionally blackmailed into a 10-2 shift as SSA tomorrow because we're getting like over 2000 special tickets??

Makes my roster:
MON: 10-4 operator, 5-9.15 supervision
TUE: 10-4 operator
WED: 9-6 supervision
THUR: 5.15-9.15 dutymgr
FRI: 10-2 SSA

weekend off for letting my hair down at such things as an ABC Party (Anything But Clothes)

Just found out we're losing our CSM! Don't tell anyone!

This is simultaneously brilliant and terrible.
He helped push me to where I am now, however he is a proper pain to work with.

I thought it was 10 hours, but it may be different in Victoria. It applies to casuals. But yes such a thing exists and usually upheld pretty well.

Just wait until monday CPI kicks in. a few thousand tickets for liquor + more for Cigarettes(RTD,Glass Spirits and Beer+other general price changes). Then, in another few weeks time, expect another few thousand for a particular department when we kick over the next round of state/national sell price group merging (to the lower price) ;)

So I suppose this is a good time for me to lose the majority of my SSA shifts due to my fucked up shoulder? :p

The next three weeks are going to be so annoying. Yesterday my SSM screamed at me because I reached for a packet of smokes with my dodge arm, I didn't know they took RTW plans THAT seriously?

Hey guys, quick question here about leave pay. My girlfriend and I work at the same Woolworths. Both of us are wondering about what happens with our built up annual leave hours if we quit, or drop down to casual. She's forced to drop to casual for personal reasons as she can now only work certain times of the year. As she will become a casual, she will no longer be entitled to annual leave, sick pay and all that. She's got 60 hours of leave built up and my question is whether or not that will just disappear, or if she will get a payout of leave loading or what.

Also, in about 6 months time I'll be leaving as I'm going overseas for 8 months. By the time I quit, I would quite a bit of leave built up, and I'm basically wondering the exact same questions. Will I be able to get anything from this leave, or will I have to take it all before I leave in order to get paid for those leave hours that I've earnt?
