ugh I have a friend who is kinda like that, hasn't had a job in like two years. I love her, but for example she asks me why I don't have my own car yet.

a) I don't earn enough to afford it atm
b) Unlike her, my parents are not going to buy it for me (twice!)

I'd get a loan but tbh I don't really see myself being able to pay it back properly with my current job/s. When I graduate and have a stable income that's not dictated by my uni timetable then we'll see. She doesn't seem to get this, though.
