and why is that?
This should be a time for you to relax and enjoy yourselves, to reflect back on the year and your success. Light study is ok, but the fact is, you're kids! go out and have fun, not spend every waking hour trying to cram more and more info into your brain.

look, if you sit in your chair studying all day everyday, it is not good for you. It worries me that people have this attitude towards the hsc.

And a high school church concert thingo at the end of the holidays
Which means all my spare time will be going into the rehearsal/production of it
Since us year 11s are the organisers/leaders of the concert thingo

wow no-ones holidays here sound fun at all!

the best advice i got was from the guy who said to get drunk and do meth!lol

we should all chill and go down to cronulla beach or bondi.
its summer soon! and we'll be studying next holidays so make the most out of these!

i think im taking a train trip down to newcastle with my friends to see this art exhibition called "this is not art" may also check out the Museum of contemporary art.

also alot of picnics and summer dresses.

my group and i already cracked a deal that we would meet up at least 5 times these holidays.

the most school related work i am going to do is read frankenstein. lol (which i bought for $5 from kinokuniya today!) also gona catch up on some vogue reading and time magazine reading + sort idea for my major textiles project!

what a great holiday this will be for all! :):):)

i think i'm gonna do like 6+ hours of maths a day, well i'll try
maybe read english text. play some games too of course
omg ur gonna kill your self....srzly bad habit. the problem with most kids are that instead of studying regularly theyr over do it once and never come back to it, it's like sport, overdoing it only increases ur chance of injuries. considering the time out required to recover, it's way better to go slow but for longer.

bad idea mate.

um yeah i "totally" agree

guys go and have fun
studying now
wont help you
it will screw you over
and then you'll be completely fucked for the beginning of year 12

you gotta make these two weeks the best weeks of your life
you got a whole year after them to study
don't start now

hang out with your friends and stuff
go out see the world

I want to repaint my study room pastel green! :) I don't think my mum would let though.
Pastel green sounds pretty wicked. It wouldnt work for my room though, seeing as it doesn't get much sunlight until midday onward in spring and summer.

I need something vibrant, warm and lively.

Lol! Well I'm also considering neutrals/browns. Dulux suede 'Swiss Pear' seems like a nice option.

LOL you nerd :p

I'm going to have to study for my Maths and MX1 HSC, but other than that, I'm doing no study for any other subject.

LOL I've never heard of that colour. So I'm presuming you'll be painting your room in the holidays Julie?

same i did 4 hours aday but still went outside and out out with my friends, you have to balance it all people you cannot lock yourself in rooms and become hermits.

As for me i will study but only in the second week as for the first week i'm going on holidays to japan so yeah fun and games then a bit of study, eg read english texts, maybe read over some bio stuff, definately going to do some stuff for ext 2 english and buying new school gear i.e. stationary etc. and excel & macquarie books (maybe)

But thats about it really people please put THESE up coming holidays into prespective yes study but most importantly go have a GOOD OLD TIME PLAY DRINK WHAT EVER just have a good time its your last REAL holidays so just have fun and do SOME study, some not nothing but study. (Except for those of you doing an accelerated subject then i can understand and good luck to you all with the up coming HSC :D )

Thats my two cents

http://www.dulux.com.au/html/textureint/

So, go to 'Suede' and click on 'available colours' and 'Swiss Pear'.

But the other textures are good too! So overwhelmed by the colours.

Actually seeing as I have some artistic talent I might be brave enough to do a wall painting .. :p

And yes Nathan, I'm painting in the holidays!

I'm going to get myself organised, try to do some light study to keep my brain functional, finish some outstanding projects and generally use the time to do all the stuff I haven't gotten around to doing yet.

Note that when I say 'I'm going to', that usually means something closer to 'I might do it, if I get over my procrastination enough'.
