Another solution is to have the phone in your right hand, and keep the car straight with your elbow whilst you change gears

that works if the steering wheel is thick. but if your elbow slips you will most likely push the steering wheel in a direction (left or right are both dangerous, unless its 3am)

My top speed was probably on board Boeing 747 on my way from Moscow to Sydney. Top speed was about 900 km/h :D

youre wierd...

i hold the phone in my right hand (less obvious from behind) and steer/change gears with my left. yes, i wouldnt be touching the steering wheel for a second or so, but i wouldnt need to. the joy of aligned/balanced wheels...
well yeah it's not like you can't stop talking to someone while changing gears, no way I'm taking my hands off the wheel on a highway around 100-110km/hr :(

Or even normal roads at 70k's or so.

I heard LCT is the new place to get booked easily... don't know how people can not read the warnings- it's not like they're radars hidden behind the corner; everyone knows there are cameras...

hahaha yeah something like 10000 drivers getting booked.
all tunnels have cameras nowadays, so speeding is a good way to toss money away :)

180 down (up?) the m5 tunnel. its a first in the lancer, and no, there werent more than a couple of cars in the whole tunnel.
holy fuck, how much was the fine?
Why couldn't you wait till after the tunnel then go for it?
Thats what I did, did 130 through the tolls / 150 on the rest of the motorway and I haven't recieved a fine (it's been 3 weeks)

haha yeah we've all had that feeling...umm I was going down mount ousley road, posted speed limit = 80. I was going at 80, but it was a steep as hill, didn't notice anything till I saw a speed camera ahead sign and checked my speedo... it was 110km/hr :-/

Managed to slow down in time to avoid the speeding ticket though
