Good work.

So far, it's been ok:
Maths Extension 2: 101.5/116, which is about.....10th
Chem Prac: 30/37, 12th.

OK I guess.

finally got all my marks back from the CSSAs(like 3 weeks later!!)
and i must say im pretty disappointed with most...

2U maths: 90% - =2nd
3U maths: 45% - 3rd
adv english: 72% - 5th
SOR: 70% - 14th (couldnt care less lol)
biology: 87% - 1st (reaaallly happy, and surprised!)
business: 73% - 6th (disappointing)
chemistry: 60% - 5th (REAAALLY disappointed, considering i came first last year and at the beginning of this year )

You were never first at chemistry the entire, u got the same mark as erin in the assignment and she beat u in the half yearly at then i beat u both in the pract test. QED

Ah, fair enough then. I only got marks this year in physics because i have a dodgy teacher who is thankfully leaving at the end of this year XD

O ok that explains it.

We never get to see the criteria. For any subjects. [Well, for the subjects I do anyway].

You should ask for it. You have the right to know what you're being marked for (at least in school assessments). No wonder why you get so many complaints lol.

Just returned to school from exams today
SDD 56 rank 1 overall (2nd in exam)
IPT 68 rank 2 overall (2nd in exam)
Mathematics dont know yet but only the extension kids passed, us 2u's are screwed, seems like many people got less than 20%, im afraid im prolly one of them.
Adv English haven't heard
Physics, also no results but i fear it's as bad at maths...

English Advanced: 85%/Rank 1
English Extension: 84%/Rank 1
Ancient History:85%/Rank 2
Visual Arts: 96%/Rank 1

Aiming for 90+ in English and Ancient for the HSC though :/

Was CSSA hard this year? Never had a chance to have a look at it. I am surprised that no one posted it up although the security period is long gone, I think.

Haven't gotten MX1 back yet, expecting around 70s (so many damn mistakes)

Lol Ryde is like overly competitive this year (comparing it with people at your school I know of). So don't worry about it youngminii. Just look into your rank (you know this already) and ace your externals .

Well here are my ranks. They're not "flash" like others achieving a variety of 1st's in subjects.


Ranks:

1. Advanced English: 2/18 in class, 5/36 in trials, 7/36 overall.
2. Mathematics Extension 1: 2/14 in trials. Need to confirm overall.
3. Mathematics Extension 2: 3/5 in trials, 2/5 overall.
4. Chemistry: 2/12 in trials, 3/12 overall.
5. Physics: 1/14 in trials, 3/14 overall.

And congrats to others achieving sweet results.
