I know, I can only get 13 and most of them are from Ronan, Savage Garden and Matchbox 20. If they said the last 25 years then it would be way easier - seriously, there were some great songs from 1988-1993 (1989 was a killer year in music, second only to 1984 in my view).

I am struggling finding songs that warrant being in my list but I also have too many and I've not scoured spotify as much as I'd like to have

here's what i have so far.
I'm going to pick a different RATM song
about to add "stand by me" if it's there (EDIT: it's not there i thought there would be a recent cover derp)
also need RHCP and foo fighters obviously
probably going to 86 josh pyke and children collide but idk what else

I know you can vote outside the 100 lists, but is there anywhere that's got a full easy-to-read list of the combined top 100 from each year?

Yeah go on spotify and search "Triple J hottest 100" and they have them all in playlists by year (made by triple J so you know they are legit0. Some songs you can't listen to, but they're all listed there.

All my songs can be found on spotify btw

Yeah, thanks for the spotify tip. I was hoping for just one big long list, but I guess the year by year isn't too bad.

Oh lord. Did this a few days ago. Lots of picks that I regret, and many that I missed (e.g. Feel Good Inc. -- how did I forget??)

The bold ones are the ones I'll defend :p

Smashing Pumpkins - Doomsday Clock
Deadmau5 - Strobe
OutKast - Hey Ya!
Eminem - Lose Yourself
Daft Punk - Harder, Better, Faster, Stronger
Red Hot Chili Peppers - Dani California (should have picked under the bridge)
Nirvana - Heart-Shaped Box
Stone Temple Pilots - Plush
Foo Fighters - Arlandria (it's my favourite song of theirs, but probably should have picked something else)
Jack Johnson - Banana Pancakes
System of a Down - Chop Suey! (could have been Toxicity)
The Cat Empire - Fishies
Avicii - Silhouettes (original radio edit)
Gary Jules - Mad World (feat. Gary Jules)
blink-182 - All the Small Things
Good Charlotte - The Anthem (from my youth <3)
Metallica - Nothing Else Matters
Soundgarden - Spoonman
Franz Ferdinand - Take Me Out
U2 - Vertigo (should have been Beautiful Day)

Maybe should have included:
Drops of Jupiter - Train
Gorillaz - Feel Good Inc.
Maroon 5 - This Love
Weird Al - (anything, dunno)
Kanye West - Gold Digger
50 Cent - In Da Club
Usher - Yeah!
Black-Eyed Peas - (anything old e.g. Let's Get Retarded)
Jet - Are You Gonna Be My Girl
3 Doors Down - Kryptonite
Green Day - Time of Your Life

I had Lose yourself, nothing else matters, The cactus that found the beat + the secret (missy higgins) heaps of other stuff in mind

so many things I am remembering now/having second thoughts about but I think my list is pretty solid

man special two... seriously. that is not the best missy higgins song (imo)

some of the songs I picked probs aren't the *best* but you know it's about the ~~~memories~~~ and shit that they create for you. I should have put "I will follow you in to the dark" in mine god dammit i know i was forgetting something.
