"You cannot change your preferences by fax, email or telephone.
Note that the closing date for written changes of preference is earlier than if you use the online or Infoline services."

I'm afraid you'll have to, if you want to change course preferences online after submission.

Just read this on UAC's website:

Student numbers
To apply you must enter the Year 12 student number that is allocated to you by your State or Territory Board of Studies.
If your student number has spaces or dashes, leave these out.

If you are attempting both an Australian Year 12 and an International Baccalaureate (IB), use your Year 12 student number to apply, not your IB number, and then advise UAC of your IB on a paper Supplementary Form A. The Supplementary Form A can be found inside your copy of the UAC 2004 Guide.

If you are studying an Australian Year 12 in:

New South Wales - your number is 7 or 8 digits - if your number is 7 digits you must add 0 eg 01234567

Still doesn't work for me, even with 8 and 9 digits (+1 and without the 1 or 0 in front).

I AM A FRIGGIN IDIOT! LOL!
How were they supposed to let me login, if I haven't paid them! LOL.

Here's the website everyone should start off at:
http://www.uac.edu.au/apply/abw.html

LOL I am such a goof! I was trying to login with my UAC No. and PIN, at the "Preferences" page, bypassing the original "Apply-By-Web" page, where all the registration details are required, along with credit card info, etc.

OMG I feel stupid hahaha!

Time to make my payment now

It's not the end of the world if you don't send in a supplementary form (although they act as though it will be). You can easily get away without going to that sort of trouble.

However, knowing that you probably won't be content to sit back and accept that... :) You don't have to do it online; even if you registered online, you can still send the form in. There should be a form in every UAC book (esp. the ones sold by newsagencies). Just fill it out and post it off. If you're really concerned, phone them during the day - they're usually hopeless with emails.
