In Victoria, Melbourne university will admit candidates with pathetic UMAT scores (try 50th percentile) so long as they have a high enough ENTER. I can't say much about Monash, but from memory their interview allocation is based on UMAT (like Newcastle). I think they (like UNSW) weigh final selection ranking on an equal basis of UMAT, UAI and interview.

Do you know if Melbourne is tight on UMAT scores for physio?

not sure...by the way monash uni is starting up a new physio course! check up the website www.med.monash.edu.au for more information...chances are that the ENTER/UAI equivalent will be lower because it's a new course and it's not so competitive to get into courses at Monash as it is at UMelb
