No. When I did mine, the lady told me she took the photo already, so I proceed to stand up and the camera flashes... I appear to be looking up at her in my photo.am i the only one who looks absolutely shocking in the ID card?

Yep. Fill it out and hand it in to student central (they have forms available there), wait 20mins-2hrs, then go to FM assist to get your student ID card done.

I came in to the FM Assist office on like 3 hours sleep - asked for my photo. Told me to sit down, so I thought, "Wow, how nice - I can sit down while I wait for my ID card to be--"Do they actually take the photo? :L I thought they used your license photo or something

and that is why my ID photo is bad

Yes. You can work during uni, and still receive concession.
