That's good. I hope for a D in comp, currently I'm not too keen on the prac exam coming up. I just gotta learn how to use linked lists tho and should be right hopefully.




Also to others, you know those volunteering societies? Where they do a lot of outreach events where they go to schools and do workshops with kids? Is this good for your resume?

There's one training workshop that will allow me to go on all workshop events, the only one this year, but it's on my birthday lol and goes for a while. Should I definitely do it?

Yeah thanks I think I will. The fact it's the LAST training session, means if I don't I can't do any workshop events with them for the whole year.

And with math, how you going to pass the class test when your that far behind in algebra? After my test today I will be spending it on algebra study + linked list study. Because right now I'm fucked.

pass the class test. lol. idc about that. I got 10/10 and 8/10 for the calculus ones. So if i get 3/10 for the next algebra one, then i will get 14% out of a possible 20%...sounds pretty good to me. And then that means i only need like high 20's out of 64 in the final exam to pass this course. So ill need to do a lot of study eventually.

If you need help with understanding linked lists, a young prodigy gave me one tip that changed my life: understand pointers.

Then I did a handful of fundamental linked list questions (e.g. reverse a linked list, check if linked list is a cycle, etc) and I became proficient at it

urgent, for MATH1131, can you skip tutorials, or is it 2 skipped tutorials and you fail? I know this is the case for many science courses, but I can't find it in the course pack. Yet everyone says it is 2 and fail.

you do not need to attend any math tutorials for MATH1XY1

but if at the end of semester your mark was <50 you can do a supp and they look at your attendance about weather you deserve it or not

Does anyone know what the policy for using the facilities in MCIC (e.g. 3D printer). Is there some sort of form I need to fill in, or can I just rock up and start using it.

Well it's easier to go to uni events if that's what you mean, yes. But I'd still go if I didn't live on campus? Most society events are around uni, and if one is on just hang around uni until the event.
