I think the cut-off for Rural applicants is 90 but you have to work for at least 6 years in a rural area after getting your degree.Originally posted by rrp

Rural applicants get lower entry requirements in general because they are seen as being at a disadvantage compared to city students. In medicine they are given more lenient requirements because or what pri said above, as well as "the unique experiences country students bring to the cohort as a whole".Originally posted by pri

I think its rural coz there is a greater chance of them going back to rural, and they need doctors there
