I wasn't referring to you, the person, I was referring to the crush. Which, as far as I know would be considered as an it.

I don't refer to people as 'it'.

Unless you know, that person really is just plain low. In that case, 'It' would be appropriate.

Or that clown that kills children and it's 11:30 at night so I'm going to move swiftly along. Because that movie, ten years later still disturbs me beyond reason.

I only recently found out that agrophobia is a fear of heights. And I probably spelt that wrong but I would have never guessed that.
