Wow all you guys get so much :O

Our year had next to nothing.
The girls had a senior summer uniform
All seniors had a senior tie for winter.
We could go early if we had frees in the arvo but not come late.
And the front lawn was seniors only

We had no common room, no canteen line nothing like that..........

What do I get as a senior student:

  • Senior (white) uniform. Makes me feel powerful.
  • Study room.
  • Free periods (which are totally enveloped by maths)
  • Library is for seniors whenever we want. + If seniors are in the library the teachers tell the little ones to SHUT THE F*** UP. It's a damn library ^_^
  • Own canteen line which we can push in too.
  • Treated with lots of respect from the teachers.
  • Even though I'm in year 11, we can use the year 12's common room :)
  • Help from teachers is at my command. They will drop what they are doing if teaching a junior class and help a senior student out with stuff.
School can be a great place when you have the power.

- Senior uniform.
- Every second friday off.
- Go to school late if you have free periods in the morning.
- Leave if you have afternoon free periods.
- Year 12 jersey.
- Teachers treat you like adults.
- Senior study.
- A room in the library.
- Can go to the canteen during free's.
- Senior area for lunch and recess, no little kids allowed.
- Teacher mentors.
- Teachers will help you out whenever you need it.
- Teachers dont care if you don't show up to class.

Every second friday off sounds pretty nice, and definitely a standout bonus to being in Yr 12.

As for the last point, I'm noticing that too. I skip classes quite often now, for one reason or another, and they don't usually care. I get so much more work done when I don't have to listen to some of my teachers droning.

we get just about nothing cause a few years ago the yr 12's at our school trashed the common room and fryed the microwave, therefore:
  • yr. 12 jerseys
  • we have 5 computers between us (sometimes they don't work, or the little kids get them).
  • better stuff in the art room
  • free periods
  • we get to sit at the back of the hall for assemblys lol, and sometimes are allowed to sit in classrooms if its cold and wet.
  • we get lunch passes if we apply
  • no sport, but thats not really a privelege
  • car keys are confiscated at start of day and given back at the end
  • no alarm system so muck up day should be fun!!!
  • the teachers like us
  • we get to laugh at the next generation of plastics
its a good life lol:haha:

How could you submit to this? A shocking abuse of freedom.

I go to westfield everyday during lunch and buy food from there.

OMG, it's the best thing about being Year 12 :) (except the fact that I am in the last year of high schooling)

It's true. My school is St Pius X College and we have this policy of letting people out of school during lunch time into Westfield.

I am really loving this policy...my mum loves this and I love this...It's a win-win situation for everyone.

Yeah, that's actually quite possible considering how dangerous Chatswood is...with all these retarded drivers (cannot forget the retarded students too!!!)

Our school takes privileges off people every now and then anyway...

our schools pretty lax...

we get to give the teachers more shit than the juniors...

mainly cause they know were kidding about so they give it back

we get a yr 12 common room which is an absolute joke cause the rest of my yr are pigs...

and just priority to excursions and stuff that are whole school (trips to raiders games, skiing, school rep sport etc)

its pretty good

We get all the usual (white shirt, common room, frees, allowed to go out in frees/lunch/recess, Year 12 Jumpers, blah blah blah) but this year we have one big Year 12 roll call so we can get info easier, and we get designated seats in the hall for assemblies.

Man reading this thread makes me want to cry :(
We get some very special privileges....
-No common room
-During frees you must go to the study centre where we are actually made to study
-Since there is construction going on right now there is no more senior toilet block but rather we are forced to use the junior toilet block, No more senior canteen so we have to use the junior canteen as well
-Construction site is right outside the rooms where we have our exams so we can hear the sound of farting construction workers and trucks passing as you're writing your exams.
-Don't get to leave during lunch
-Are meant to keep phones in our lockers.
Besides that we do get
-Year jersey
-Teachers are nicer
-Get to use a special walkway which has a fountain in the middle

There are supposedly 'senioirs only' areas, but teachers always kick us out and say 'I've booked this room for my class!'...So not much privileges there. I vent my anger and disappointment by yelling at the juniors....ah, so fun to see then run...
